It's island time! This sunshine coloured, refreshing blend is packed full of anti-inflammatory nutritious goodness to have you glowing inside and out.
Nutrition Tip: when chopping up pineapple to store in the freezer, don't discard the stem (the firmer middle bit). This contains the highest concentration of bromelains. Bromelains are anti-inflammatory, support digestive function, and have a whole host of wonderful health-promoting properties.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 banana (frozen)
- 1/2 cup mango (frozen)
- 1/3 cup pineapple (frozen)
- 1/2. tsp. ground turmeric OR 1 tbsp. fresh turmeric
- 1 slice lemon (skin and pith included)
- Juice of 1/2 small lemon
- 1 serve Vanilla Bone Broth Protein Powder
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 1/4 cup water
- 1-2 tsp. fresh grated ginger
- Big handful fresh spinach
Instructions:
Place all ingredients into a high powdered blender and blend until smooth.
Add more water to thin, if needed.
