Ingredients:
Brownie
- 1 cup walnuts
- 1 cup dates
- 1/4 cup hemp seeds
- 1/4 cup Mitchells Bone Broth Chocolate Protein
- 1/4 cup cacao powder
- 2 tablespoons Clover Ferments Beet Kvass
Icing
- 1/2 cup coconut oil
- 1/4 cup cacao powder (additional)
- 2 tablespoons maple or honey
Instructions:
Step 1:
Add walnuts, dates, hemp seeds, protein powder, cacao powder and beet kvass into a food processor and blend until the mixture becomes sticky
Step 2:
Press the mixture evenly into a loaf tin
Step 3:
In a seperate small saucepan or in the microwave (5 second intervals), melt the coconut oil. Remove from heat and stir in the cacao powder and sweetener until well combined
Step 4:
Pour this mixture over the brownie base in the tin.
Step 5:
Place the tin in the refrigerator and allow to set for 1-2 hours
Step 6:
Once set, remove from the fridge. Cut into portions and enjoy your gooey, fudgy probiotic protein brownie!
